On March 12th, SLA’s International Cultures class would be traveling to Costa Rica for ten days to partake in individual field studies. While on the journey, the class would also travel to the southern border to help irrigate families in a local community. This trip would have been nearly impossible without the help of the organization, Rustic Pathways. With the help of Rustic Pathways, the class was able to remain safe, have fun, and learn and great deal while traveling in a different country.

One of the many dogs located in the Bribri community. Costa Rica is covered in strays, mostly dogs and only a few cats. Cats are less appreciated by locals and are seen as "diablos" (devils).
